My daughter’s are but one needs in home long treament and medicaof wont cover her. FThey say she has a 30per cant survival. When i take her to tehab they turn her away because she need long term treatmen. Shes overdosed 5 times and the 5th time she almost didnt survive. I wish there was a good treatment sent her in Parkersburg for long term treatment so my daughter will live. Her liver is bad and she has no hope because I don’t have the money for these high priced re have out of town and she only has west Virginia medicaid. My other daughter is 20 years old and is trying to get into a rehab that will medicate her while in there and not just detox her in three days and throw her back on the street. Please help me find a place that’s gonna take their Medicaid and medicate them while detoxing. Then they will have hope to get well they are giving up because they fget so sick and the withdrawal is horrible. Please help. Sincerely. .their Mother. Cheri

  • As a recovering addict, who’s been clean now for 5 and a half years, I understand the struggle these people face.. It is a snowball effect that continues to intensify the state of depression.. Financial devastation adds up faster and faster, and the mood swings and loss of hope become unbearable. Worst part is that at a younger age, especially before 30, addicts dont see the changes themselves, tho everyone around them do. Yes, politicians have a duty to make sure every person searching for help gets it, but so doesn’t society as a whole. My addiction began from the loss of my dad. And a lot of people that seen what was taking place, that were in a position to man up and help me, chose not too. And of course, I’m not saying any of this was their fault. But they were on the front line to stop it, and the abandoned me for whatever reasons, and that pain of disappointment, and lack of empathy, only added to the depression. I was lost, and the mistakes I made seemed unfixable. I threw my life away as far as I knew, and this I was sure of.. Until I realized that if I continued, I’d be the one e thing that always upset my dad in life.. Wasted talent. And I was on pat to inflict the same pain on my daughter, by losing her dad, that I felt. That realization made my world collapse, and forced me to take action, and seek help.. Now, I’m back operating heavy equipment, something I thought would be never possible. Not only that, but I was accepted back in my union unanimously by the board, because I manned up and told them I made mistakes, but wanted a second chance. Every man there could relate to me. They’ve all been there in life, in one way or another, and they too were given second chances. I’m sorry this comment is so long, and I depth. But today, I see success where I once seen failure. In the mirror. And if I could do it, so could anyone else.. Having love and support is key to this.. Any loved ones can be better then they’ve ever been, and it takes one person believing in them to achieve it… And I believe every addict is worth the help.

And here’s where I tell you the one thing that truly did it for me.. Suboxen, along with a therapist appointment consecutively and drug tests. Structure is key, and it’s the most overlooked thing when it comes to treating addiction. Humans need structure in life. Stability. And most of all, hope.. Please don’t have the attitude the lots of people have with suboxen, saying things like its a crutch, or you’re replacing a problem with a problem. That’s 1000% false. Getting away from all the people that addicts associate with is fundamental. And suboxen gives people the mindframe of knowing you have a blocker in you, and can’t get high.. It gives you strength. It gives you the will to want better.

If this message helps one addict on this entire planet, even for a minute, then it’s been well worth my time to write.. If you are an addict, and can relate to anything I’ve said, just know you’re not hearing it from some rich doctor that can’t relate. Its a solution in the grand skeem of things, but it’s alot of hard work and dedication, but also know that I believe in you.. You can do this. Cut yourself some slack, forgive yourself for alot of mistakes you’ve made. You’re human, it’s expected. There’s help if you want it, and I’m here for anyone looking to talk.. [email protected]. Please don’t spam me or send bogus emails, I’m leaving my email in good faith of the people who need it most. Thank you for your time..

I would like to know if there is a place close to Weatherford, OK for my daughter, Pam Chilingirian. She’s been in a correctional ctr in FL for almost 3 yrs, came out, moved to OK, got involved with her cousin (romantically), got kicked out of that relationship and went nuts!!! She started experiencing with methamphetamine, and she’s just not here anymore. She’s 54 yrs old, has a son who doesn’t give a flip about her and I think she’s just trying to end it, but doesn’t know how or wants sympathy. Her husband overdosed in 2003, and I think that’s where she’s wanting to go. I’m her mother, I know there’s still a lot more life and good in her, but she won’t have anything to do with me. Can you help me? Her son had her arrested for theft, she just went to court and is on 6 mo probation.

Call Her Probation Officer anytime she could be using, Get her arrested. They Will Keep Her Safer. Otherwise, you can’t make her get help. Prayers To You. Good luck
